Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. we did lose 4 in OT in a row to end the season. Even the extra four points from winning those would have moved us to drafting 9th. We were very, very close to ruining the pick. A bunch of teams also went on winning streaks to stop us from climbing too.

So a whole bunch of luck would have gotten the team to 9th, not 11th People were being overly dramatic for the third year in a row.

Even if you convert half of our OT losses to regular losses, we would still be 5th last. Those 4 teams below us are a different kind of bad.

Nothing surprises me. I'll go in with the expectation of the worst case scenario and then be pleasantly surprised if it doesn't come to pass.

We were closer to drafting 12th than 4th. It was a real possibility to ruin our pick. A couple wins is not a lot of luck when we had 16 ot losses.

If Hughes could trade Romanov for a 13th, he can do a hell of a lot more with this current crop of defensemen.

I don't know that there will be a 2nd pairing D man in the top 5 -- there are probably only 1st pairing ceiling types this year.
