Actually, I just rechecked the standings. If Philadelphia wins in regulation, they tie Washington in RWs, ROWs, and W, lol. It then becomes points head-to-head, which they'll probably lead.

That means Philadelphia will have to pull the goalie in regulation if the teams are tied late. Going to OT eliminates them, so Washington can clinch on an ENG.

i cant emphasize the importance it is for us to rest our vets, 1st line and goalies.. we MUST lose in reg tmrw, I don;t feel like watching AZ or OTT suck out.

I once sat on a plane beside him, like 15 or so years ago.. he had a leather binder and opened it up right beside me.. with a pencil he started drawing practice drills I kid you not. Then putting the lineups together, he was circling numbers and connecting dots for the PP and PK column. I remember thinking, this, this is what an NHL coach does? it was so old school, might as well have been the 90s.

Everyone wants the results of suffering without actually undergoing any suffering. Tanks suck but they are necessary. I can't believe 3 years into a rebuild with a 1st OV pick blossoming, some fans still cannot comprehend this.

Not to mention a RHD top 4 and whomever we pick up this year.. yet to play..
This rebuild has been nothing short of incredible considering the lingering stench from the previous GM. A lottery win for Cellibrini would be fitting to solidify our future for the next 15 years.
Any "fan" who cannot see or understand this hasn't a clue how to build a proper team.

We were an absolute farce of incompetence under MB.. complete and utter disgrace (considering the core he had to start with).
