I hear the Coyotes have found their starting goalie to end the season, can't afford to compromise the tank any further.

The bottom 6 will be the same as last year. Don't see the habs dropping to #4. We finish around 5-7.
Ari has a tough schedule left. We are most likely finishing 7th. All those useless ties and a surprise win or two coming up will push us past them.

Montreal has something like 3 wins in their last 14 games with the top players playing well. And Montreal just lost Roy who may have been Montreal 4th best forward.

Only SJ and Chicago have fewer regulation wins. Only SJ, Chicago and Anahiem have a worse goal differential.

Odds remain that Columbus will finish with a worse record than Montreal, but if the question is what are the odds that status quo remains, I'd think pretty good.
Habs 5-10-5 since Monahan. Easy to project our next 13 games. Unless we lose another big name.

Well depends on OTT, they have been incredibly bad so who knows. But logically yes bottom 6 should remain the same, as expected at the beginning of the year to be fair.

A win would be to have more points than last year though, i.e. trending in the right direction.

Big weekend coming up.

OTT plays @ NJD tonight and then hosts EDM tmrw

Zona hosts DAL tmrw lol

Habs are in SEA tmrw

At the very least we need to lose our sole game against Seattle. Should be doable. Arizona beating Dallas would be a miracle so I'm not expecting much. Same goes for Ottawa, any wins from here on I consider miracles.

So Habs L + 3 miracles = 5th place baby

ARI - 71gp - 65 pts
OTT - 70gp - 64 pts
MTL - 70gp - 62 pts

Seattle is so bad - I have it as an OTL but it could very easily be a W. Getting a L there would be massive news for the tank.
Seattle would be smart to lose against us as well. It might be a challenge for them though given our roster. :skeptic:
If I'm bored later on this evening I can always tune in to that Hawks Sharks game for some laughs.

If we win and Ottawa loses both their games it's going to sting for a bit.
