I want Calgary to stay competitive this year so they don't do a complete rebuild.

Given Florida likely makes the playoffs next year, my best hope is Calgary tries to make the playoffs and falls short - ideally they get the 11th pick. Because if they're bad and finish bottom 10 and Florida makes the playoffs, we get Florida's 1st.

How did Arizona go from playoff team to below us? They must have lost like 23 out of 25 games.

They've lost 11 in a row.

They are 4-15-2 since January 1st. A .238 winning percentage. That's the worse in NHL even worse than Chicago without Bedard.

Their next game is Sunday @ Winnipeg, so I expect a 12th consecutive loss. Then they're in Montreal Tuesday.
