Winsipedia is so cool, love looking back at ECU's history with non conference//regional opponents.

Though, I have to admit that I find it a bit strange that, if you count this upcoming 2016 season, ECU will have played South Carolina 19 times in 39 years (or basically, once every other season), but never played Clemson even once.

Michigan State just tried to play power football with college sized players vs NFL sized players....their style really feeds right into Alabama's hands....they were built exactly to stop a team like Michigan St.
