Probably, but I still think OU should be dinged for no title game. If Stanford boat races USC (which might happen), and I were on the committee, they would get my 4th place vote.

IF OU had 2 losses like Stanford does you might have a point. But they don't.

Not just talking about you, but I find this hilarious. I knew this would happen. There will always be people wanting more and there will always be debate about the last pick and how they should expand. Just leave it the way it is. No whining about it if you don't finish perfect.

Not that I'm defending the move, but if there's anyone that underachieves with top 10 recruiting class after top 10 recruiting class anywhere close to what Richt did a UGA, I'd be hard pressed to find them.

He's exactly who I'd hire if I'm UVA. And UVA is exactly where I'd go as Richt. Non-foosball conference in a very fertile recruiting state.

Virginia is IMO anyway a decent football school. I know VT is the top dog in that state but UVA has had some good teams in the last 25 years and is a program that I think has potential to become an ACC contender. There's no reason for them not to strive to be a good team.

The rumblings have been that he has shown interest in Maryland and Miami. Strangley enough he was on the hot seat at the beginning of last season. I think he might have done all he can there in Starkville. Ole Miss seems to have control of the Magnolia state for the next couple of seasons.

Right, but anything is possible if the teams in front of you are dropping. OSU is clearly at worst like the #5/6 team. That's not even my point though. I'm not crying for OSU to get in or anything.

I think it'll be OSU in the Rose Bowl if Iowa beats MSU, or OSU in the Fiesta bowl vs Notre Dame if Iowa gets beat.

God, I hope not. I was hopeful when I saw the original scuttlebutt that Herman was the favorite for the position. If it's Muschamp you're dooming the program to lose any and all legitimacy that's been built up over the Holtz/Spurrier eras, taking us right back to the bad old days of Brad Scott and perennial also-ran status.
