I was fishing in Sooke, and we were covered in fog all morning. Finally got the sun to break through for good in the afternoon, and now my face colour matches my hair colour (in name).

I just watched the first 3 Transformers movies and I made a few astute observations.

Megan Fox is hot, but should not act, except perhaps in silent movies.
Optimus Prime is the greatest fictional character of all time.
Bumble Bee, he needs to talk and should be a VW Beetle. But I get that Chevy paid the most.
Jazz, why did he have to die? He was the next best to Optimus Prime.
The constructicons are awesome, however I am not really impressed with Devastator when they all come together.

I have yet to see the 4th movie, but I am super excited about the Dinobots!

Also, we need an appearance from Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime! Or at least

Actually I think it was because Volkswagen wouldn't allow their car to be used in a "violent" movie, or some such thing.

GM stepping up with a truck full of money (and an awesome concept car) probably didn't hurt either.

I watched DotPotA last night, and it was one of the least disappointed I've been with a movie in a long time. Worth watching for sure.

Very much fits the rebuild theme.

I have to say, I did enjoy the first Transformers movie. Every one since has been Will Ferrel-like levels of mailing it in.

I won't lie, I am biased. I had a pretty unhappy childhood and the Transformers were one of very few highlights. The first movie, is easily my favourite of all time, except for maybe the original animated movie.
