I created an AI nutrition coach custom GPT. It’s in prototype phase now. Had one client use it for 4 months and lose 20 lbs after being stuck/inconsistent our first 8 months together. Even had a few vacations thrown in there.

Hoping this takes off into something big. Still in prototype phase if anyone wants to mess around with it I’ll gladly share.

I had an illness a few years ago that lingered the better part of two years until I was feeling almost 100%. The stress to my body thinned my hair & had it falling out pretty severely. Before that, at 46 I had a FULL head of hair with zero thinning.

I'm not someone who could pull off being bald, so I tried every holistic, natural remedy I could find, but none of them did squat. At my wits end, I decided to try Finasteride. I went on Hims & sent a pic of my hair line, which honestly didn't show anything, but they approved me for the pills. Which means I think they just rubber stamp anyone who wants them.

Took them for the better part of two years & it restored the overall thickness and health of my hair along with most of the patches of my scalp that were almost bare. I stopped taking it about 4 years ago & my hair mostly looks like it did before I got sick 7-8 years ago.

I will say, I was very lucky to have a lot of hair before I became ill & I did something about it before it was past the point of no return. If you are bald or have bad thinning spots, I don't think there's any hope short of a transplant.

However if you're just starting to thin, it's worth a shot...the pills worked really well for me. Some guys have to take them forever, but I was lucky I just needed a jump start to my follicles which were dormant after that long illness & could stop taking them when I felt the thinning had ceased.
Ive had thin spots for years so I just use clipper cutters on a 1 blade. Didn't like the spray on stuff but was thinking of trying the all in one pills. That big time actor said he used pills. Not looking for crazy full hair but would be happy if 2 thin spots grew a bit.

Not sure what actor you're referring to, but most of the Hollywood crowd with hair issues are getting transplants. Two off the top of my head that had good success with them are Jon Hamm & Steve Carrell. Their hairlines were basically restored to look as if they had zero hair loss, but also look very natural. I can't see pills helping that much.

Hard to say if pills would work in your situation without seeing photos. However, it can't hurt to try if you're willing to give it 12-24 months. Remember, I'm not a doctor, but I did stay at Holiday Inn last week.

Take it very slow! Introduce easy to digest carbs like fruit, rice, potatoes. PM me if you want help.
I eat some berries after dinner every night. Had a couple of bites of my sandwich last night. Slowly adding some carbs. I'm at about 30-40 net carbs per day and 10 net sugar. When I was at my peak ketosis I was around 15-20 net carbs and less than 5G sugar. Still, despite increasing my carbs, that one slice of pizza absolutely rocked me.

I ride my exercise bike everyday with very few exceptions. Every few months I get ab area pain that I'm sure is connected but it seems odd to me. I think its from the curved angle it puts my abs while I pedal 60 minutes a day. Last night I had some. Its gone now. I'm going to take a break. I feel like I'm over doing it and my body is telling me to chill out.

for others thinking about finestride, be careful.

Lots of people have good to great outcomes, but it's one of those medications that should be accompanied with regular blood work.

One of the not uncommon side effects is an increase in estrogen. This can lead to a huge drop in libido as well as gyno issues.

Those kind of things are why I never tried it.

Which is why I tried everything else before I gave in. I didn't have any side effects & I also only took it for as long as I needed to.

I struggled a long time before making the choice, but ultimately I decided the risk was worth it to me. I don't take any other meds & I'm in excellent shape after recovering from that lengthy illness. I did mention it's not for everyone & again I'm not a Dr.

One shouldn't go into it blindly.

Thank you. I appreciate your experience. I have seen some people say no side effects either. Did you ever try the 3 in 1 pills?

if you are dabbling with testosterone, finestride, reta, etc. I would find a physician that will work with you and look at your blood work every 6 weeks. The teledoc/internet prescribers scare me. But to each their own.

Sometimes I think my cheap scale is actually working in regards to body fat, water weight, etc. I say that because on some days my weight drops but my body fat % goes up while water weight goes down and vice versa. It has electric sensors to stand on. While I believe the trend probably works I cant imagine the BF% is accurate because it seems too high.

If it's just sensors on your feet, all it's measuring is your legs. It's shooting a signal up one leg and down the other and measuring the resistance. Some scales have handle bars (like water skiing) as well as foot sensors. So the signal at least passes through your legs and upper body.

I never take the bf% and water % too seriously but it seems to work at least to some degree.

This is for any amateur orthopedists on here. I’ve been using cables for bi’s for years now. In January I had a lot of pain in my left forearm from curling. The real pain is getting the cable from the floor to the spot where the bicep takes over. I stopped for a month and was able to get back to it with pain but it wasn’t excruciating.

Now about a month ago, I was stupid and tried to flip a massive stone. The pain in the same spot was much worse. I rested again and have gone back to some activity but am limited in what I can lift. Even up to a month ago I could hammer curl 75s and now with my left I can only get 40 until the pain is too much. Eventually I’ll get it checked out but in the meantime has anyone experienced anything like this? I thought it might be a stress fracture of the ulna but there’s no pain coming from the bone at all. I also don’t think it’s a ligament/tendon tear because I have full motion to a limit. My guess it’s long term tendinitis but what do I know?

I'm no medical expert...but I think continuing to use the arm to lift isn't the best idea
