OT: The Music Thread Part Xi

In an eerie "coincidence," the guy who dies in the 2004 video above

https://www.perplexity.ai/search/184c916a-09b0-4d1c-bd1a-9476e225cf9fwas

was played by Deshawn Holton, better known as Proof, Marshall's hype man and childhood friend,

In 2006, Proof was shot to death at a Detroit bar.

His death precipitated Eminem's swift decline into misery and drug abuse,

from which he emerged in 2008 with the album "Relapse."

New Cornell Coach Casey Jones was once drafted by the Bruins.

Clarkson head coach Casey Jones is heading back to Cornell as their associate head coach, the team announced Thursday.
Following one season as associate head coach, Jones will take over as head coach of the Big Red in 2025-26 once Mike Schafer retires.
A product of Temiscaming, Que., Jones was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the tenth round of the 1987 NHL Draft but never played pro hockey after his four-year NCAA career at Cornell.

He also spent time driving a train.

never will there be a time we will get to see Tom Petty live again but Mrs. Odaat and I had a blast at The Wildflowers show here in Victoria last night. I wasn`t sure what to expect, other than being in a bar with a cover band, had never seen an act that is 100% devoted to covering a band, these guys were an absolute blast, I highly recommend catching them if you have the chance and nope, I`m not the dude with the suit sleeves rolled up :)Sorry, says files too large to upload in full
