Hey Ozzy Osbourne, there's more than one way to rock & roll, and more than one way to enjoy music.

"Information Technology," as Steely Dan's cynical, perfectionist beyond belief musician, lyricist, songwriter and producer Donald Fagan, very much in a position to know, asserts in his memoir ("Eminent Hipsters"), "Information Technology is a total mind f*ck."

I quite agree,

Banned by #1 culprit MTV.

Subsequently (typically, hypocritically, transparently, comically) awarded "Best Video of the Year" (1988) by same.

Please view the " 'This Note's For You' Video" Wikipedia entry for greater detail (sic),

When I saw your link, I thought, "Steve Morse is still around?"

Thanks for posting. Can't say I was a fan, as Morse was rather vanilla, but respect regardless.

I saw the Waterboys a couple of times in the 80's during their Fisherman's Blues timeframe. Awesome shows (once at Orpheum in Boston). Such a fun band.
Were they "fun"?

I never thought of them that way. Certainly not Karl Wallinger.

Clever, very bright and amusing.

Mototorhead was the loudest for me. Great show!
Jeff Beck - and no one has ever come close. No exaggeration, it bordered on painful.

And that is from a guy who has been to a lot of shows over the years.

You are fight, fun is probably not the right word on reflection.

The shows were just wonderful though. I probably say "fun" because when I think back on it, I smile. A lot.

Jeff Beck played on Patient Number Nine and was excellent. I just can’t imagine anything louder than Motörhead.
