Great song on a great album. When they re-released Ziggy Stardust on the 20th anniversary they added a few hidden gems. If you haven't gotten the 1990 re-release, its worth picking up. Here are 2 of my favorite added tracks....

Yes. The former was thought too, uhm, risque for wide release.

The latter gave this mash note to Bowie, Iggy, DeFries, Angie, et. al. its title. Well worth a look, and starring a pre Dark Knight Christian Bale,

Good Luck to Butch Cassidy and Phil 'The Thrill' in Vegas

Stay away from them card games, Boys

The first time I heard "The Hole," I was chilled to the bone. I had no idea who Townes was.

"What the f*** is that?!"

This is such a great song. One of Neil's hidden gems. He was a complete mess when that album was recorded. He'd just fired Crazy Horse as his backing band and that was recorded with a totally new backing group during that tour. They almost imploded during the tour and Neil Young has always hated that record. I don't know why. I think its pretty great.

He's made a lot of shit records during his career that are way worse than that one..

Mick Ronson's last studio guest appearance had a "risque" factor to it as well.

Have the album...might be my favourite next to Live Rust.

I always liked Time Fades Away. My eldest brother Greg, who died last year, was a huge Neil fan and that's how I became a fan. We saw him here (that place which remnds of Pine Knob in MI, the outdoor venue) in '89.

Favorite albums:

Tonight's the Night
Zuma
On the Beach
Rust Never Sleeps
After the Gold Rush
Comes a Time

Honorable Mention, because they have their moments and it's Neil being Neil (like Bowie being Bowie, in a very different way),

Trans/Everybody's Rockin'/This Note's For You,

(Just hit YouTube)

BTW, I'm sure you guys know Neil's dad was Scott Young, the sports writer,

Loved the Bruin video tribute to Scott Young.

I know quite a bit about Neil :). I had a chance to meet Neil through his brother Bob in Halifax. Bob Young was a good friend of a friend. Bob secured two front row tickets and chance to visit Neil after the concert. Unfortunately Bob wasn't able to join us. Doesn't matter concert was unbelievable and where I first saw Wilco.

I've watched Neil Live in Toronto X2, Buffalo, and Halifax.

Favorite albums:

Live Rust (it was my introduction to Neil via my sisters)
Tonight's the Night
On the Beach
Rust Never Sleeps
After the Gold Rush

Honourable mentions - Silver and Gold, Trans and biography called Shakey
