You were excited to see Peanuts? I wasn't lol, they lose some charm to be going to 3d. Kinda like the chipmunks and Garfield :P Maybe I'm just old and prefer them in their original states lol.
I watched Peanuts this morning with my nephews and it was fantastic, they did an excellent job; the animation was really on point.

Just watched Creed. Excellent movie, just awesome; I can see why it was more or less universally praised. Also had Central Park Five, The Seven Five and Best of Enemies on today (Netflix docs); they were all really solid.

Some other movies I enjoyed that came to mind today were Prisoners, Drive, Shaun + Fuzz (I liked these two much, much, much more than anything else these guys ever did again) and The Wrestler. Just awesome flicks; for their their ambiance, humour and/or story.

For Doc people who want something really great to watch; there's a music one out there called 'A Band Called Death'; I dare anyone to not become an immediate fan of the band and get their music. It's one of the albums I constantly play. I was even close to buying one of the old 7''; just to have it... They're tough to find, and not cheap (what's $500.00 in the grand scheme anyways?).

Also for 2015 movies that were good and fun; The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Fun little spy movie with two very likeable protagonists.

This is my top 15, I thought it was an off year for movies but still a lot of great ones

I just watched the force awakens. Honestly, all jokes aside, The Phantom Menace was better

I had major nerd-***** moments throughout the whole new Star Wars, loved it, they really brought back the old trilogy feel, so many goosebump moments!! Whereas I felt the prequels were too in love with CGI, although, I recently watched them and I still love III, would rank them 3-1-2 although #2 might just be a bias on my part because I watched it far too many times. I plan on going to see TFA at least once more while its in theatres.

I watched it 3 times in a 5 day span. The other two times were not planned. They just happened. Still enjoyed all viewings.

Yeah I think I'm gonna have to go see it once more (at least). I was watching the trailers again and got excited all over again haha

I signed up for Crave a few days ago and started re-watching Sopranos for the first time since it ended. Man what a great series.

One of my favorite shows ever. I love it.

My top 5:
  1. The Wire
  2. Oz
  3. Sopranos
  4. Dexter
  5. Sons of Anarchy

Also, need to re-watch entourage so I can watch the movie

Sons of Anarchy is on my to-watch list. I haven't watched it yet but it looks good.

Honestly all of my top 5 is almost interchangeable. I think after those 5 there is a step down where I would put Six Feet Under, Criminal Minds, Sherlock, Deadwood, Justified, Boardwalk Empire, Hell on Wheels, Vikings, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones... etc
