I watched Alone in the Wildeness, again. I dont know how many times I've watched it but it just has this really relaxing effect on me. In 1968, a 50 year old guy wants to try if he can survive a winter in Alaska alone. He keeps a journal and films on 16mm film with a tripod his experiences there. And the rest is history...

There's more about this guy in wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Proenneke) but I recommend watching that documentary first without reading anything about his story.

I'm really excited that a couple theaters are playing the new animated film Batman: The Killing Joke on Monday, July 25. Super pumped

For Daredevil and Jessica Jones fans.

This weekend Netflix/Marvel released teaser trailers for Luke Cage, Iron First and The Defenders.

I might have asked this before, but how the hell you all have time to watch that much? I mean I have the last two seasons of GOT waiting for me, and the last show I watched through was Breaking Bad.

I couldn't stand Lucifer personally, lots of my friends enjoy it though. Glad you found something you like though, always nice to find a new show

Saw Star Trek Beyond tonight, was terrific.

Randomly picked up an episode of Angie Tribeca.
Interesting brand of humour - has "Ann Perkins" from Parks and Recreation actress in the lead role and a few other notable actors in supporting roles. Danny Pudi from Community was the guest actor in the 20 second lead-in to the episode so I stuck around.

Creative/clever humour, even if may of them are visual effects and non-sequitur, stand-alone jokes. Anyone else watched/following?
