The most "This is over before it's actually over" series in the last few years.

Preds vs Avs from the start in 2022. It's going to be a waste of eight days - Darryl Sutter.

Another recent one involving the Avalanche: when they played the Coyotes in 2020. At least Darcy Kuemper stole a game for the Coyotes, then the series ended with back to back 7-1 blowouts.

To say that the Coyotes had a "non-zero" chance of winning the series is technically accurate, but still very generous.

It does suck.

I think the guy you quoted was more commenting on how people complain about "too many Leafs threads on the main board", when they are created by Leafs fans, yet all these Leafs threads on the main boards are created by other hockey fans who wish to see the Leafs fail yet again.

You seem to be a San Jose Sharks fan, so let me say what you said but like I'm talking about the San Jose Sharks........

"Imagine not have any Cups ever despite having some really good teams since its inception in 1991 and everyone just assumes you are going to fail in the playoffs because you always do. Must suck"

If you were joking around like you are aware how futile the Sharks have been, kudos and sorry for making this comparison.

I just really felt the need to point out that your team sucks too.

So insecure.

This is the most Leafy thing ever. Push the series to 7 games just for the additional heartbreak.

Sorry Leaf fans, but not too many people are believing the Leafs are coming back even though it's 3-2.

Has there been a series with more of a sense that there is no way a team can win than this one in the past few years?

Sorry Leaf fans, but not too many people are believing the Leafs are coming back even though it's 3-3.

Carolina vs Detroit in 2002. Except the Canes won the first game, which shocked that loudmouth Brett Hull. After that it was all downhill tho.
Not exactly.....Game 3 though.....Wings needed a very late 3rd period goal (18:45) to get it to OT which they subseqently won in the 3rd OT.

Leaving the ESA that night (ESA-RBC-PNC-Lenovo) sure was depressing. The flip side of emotions was leaving after Game 7 in 2006.
