I would try anything I came across at retail price.

Peregrine (2024) is still one of the best spirits I've ever had. That thing is on a shortlist with 2015 GTS and a couple of dusty Turkey bottles for me.

I did snag a Single Barrel of theirs from a pick program in December, but I haven't opened it yet.

Apparently it wasn't 2024. It was Peregrine First Flight which is now 1200ish secondary.

This one coming out is 2024 and I just signed up for the lottery mailing list, so thank you.

Threw it in the smoker around 8, it's only a little guy, 5lbs, so hopefully shouldn't take that long. Just going to make some pulled pork sammies with it. Making buffalo chicken dip and got some soft pretzels as well

Oh the bar graph it traditionally hit the sweet spot between good quality and very approachable cost. But it also comes from buffalo trace, so it’s nigh unfindable in places that are cost controlled (like PA) or is wildly priced in other places.
