I won't lie, I could probably do without turkey for Thanksgiving. I smoked a few breasts for a friendsgiving a few years back and they were probably the best versions I've ever had.

To your point, no matter how well you make a turkey, It always comes our dry.
This is why you cook your poultry medium rare.

I've been trying to squirrel some interesting scotches away before any tarrifs play havoc with pricing. Transatlanticism is a blend with a base of 25 yr scotch. Compass Box and T8ke always do a great job and make unique products, so this was a no brainer.

The other two were $25 mystery bottles to get up to free shipping. I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't a $100 bottle of Cask Strength Single Malt Program Pick and a $70 100% Blue Agave Reposado Program Pick that spent a year finishing in Oak. I would definitely try that again. Since it triggered free shipping, I paid ~$20 total for those two.

You're in PA. You don't even need the loopholes I do to get around state laws. This order was from a Barrel Pick Program, but you can go straight to distilleries and/or breweries in many cases. Every website whether they make it or are just a reseller will tell you which states they ship to. For me at least, a signature is required on delivery. But that's a different state.

They may or may not charge sales tax and you get a low pricr. For me, it's $8 more than I paid for the bottle shipped even though shipping is $20. It's also flat, so you could wait for a seasonal you want to try and grab both.

I'm admittedly not sure but I'll let you know. A friend of mine just left his position as a coffee rep and joined Deschutes national account team so he sent me some random stuff.
I was wondering why you were getting that shipped. Thought you could get that anywhere 😂

Yet I think I’ve heard of people in PA getting beer of the month or whiskey of the month directly shipped. Not sure how that’s different.

I am aware of the laws. In NJ, you can only receive wine and mead. Period.

You're looking at my openly paid for and shipped order. I'm also a Bruery Reserve Society member. I've ordered spirits and beer from Europe. I got a couple bottles from Japan a few years ago. Never had a single problem. Some sites won't ship to NJ. But if they do, it shows up.

I need to look real hard in my PMs for some of these sites.
