Dominos just came out with

Donut size pizza shape dessert

There’s about 4-5 flavors.

I don’t know if they are at all stores

But they bake this big donut

With different icing depending on which flavor you pick

I first saw it on LinkedIn their CEO posted it.

UPS contracted one of our aircraft to fly through PDX 5 days a week for Dec. really looking forward to it /s

It may be slightly less so with the emergence of Amazon since i was there, but man those weeks after Thanksgiving were brutal. You could make a shit ton of money if you could power through.

Yep…. I worked for the ground handler that UPS used. They let you work 24/7 if you could pull it. It’s just one flight for me so not too bad. Working for the airline, I just worry about weight and balance etc. the minions load the plane. Amazons model isn’t based off of next day air (their planes are just stocking warehouses. UPS still gets rocked.

UPS is taking over the postal contract from fed ex though so they get are going to tell Amazon to show it

I would purposely go to the turnpike every now and then to get food when it was open.

For sure. Pre-Amazon though, people would spend more through standard e-comm sites that would ahip through the UPS/FedEx of the world. Now, a good portion of that probably flows through Amazon, who does their own distribution, stealing ground volume UPS would have had prior.

Dunno dear man.

I find sherry is a common taste profile when I go outside of the smoke/peat tastes. I’m an actually not super into sherry but when done right adds a nice element.

I think a lot of them have some sort of blends so to speak. I do prefer the more “traditional” types, which often aren’t the massive brands - if I get can my hands on them.

Think Kilchoman. Bruichladdich. That Balblair I mentioned. Oban.

It's finished in sherry barrels. There's no sherry in it.

Good choice. This is generally considered the best widely available Irish. I actually just grabbed a Cask Strength for a friend. I don't know how hard that is to find up there, but it's ~$25 more here if you enjoy that and want a higher proof. Same age.

I'm a big fan of sherry finishes on whiskey. Don't drink sherry by itself, so that's definitely not a requirement.

I’ve tried the cask actually few years back. It’s good but found the alcohol just took over everything else. Was maybe a 60%. Something like that if I remember. It’s an ass kicker, and a nice treat - can see the appeal.

That's the good part of never getting heavily into bourbon. Your alcohol sensitivity hasn't been obliterated yet. Cask Strength on that is 116. I think the highest bottle in my cabinet is 141.6. :laugh:

This is a real problem. 80 proof tastes almost weak now. There is some great stuff in the high proofs but I have been guilty of letting it sneak up on me. I have vague memories of a fantastic bottle Bookers that tasted like 130 proof toasted marshmallows, but very strong memories of the resulting hang over.

It's a 24B, which I have not had yet. The New Riff was more expensive. I think the last Stagg I saw just sitting on a shelf at MSRP in NJ was in 2017 or 2018. :laugh:

Any time I have New Riff I drink it like water...that's my go to..

I think I tried to win a chance to buy a bottle of the Stagg in the drawing but didn't win it

Oof, 130 proof.
I've noticed the need to keep trying higher proof bourbons as well; the usual suspects at 94 proof almost feel too easy.

On the other hand I've had a bottle of Stagg Jr that tasted so hot I didn't enjoy it without adding a few drops of water.
