We have at times. It's going to vary from brand to brand and model to model so much that it's hard to have a broad discussion about it. Did you have any specific questions about the process?

For example, this past spring I helped a buddy find a vehicle for his new driver daughter. He was going to go with a used CR-V until I found a 24 month lease with 1k up front (including fees) for $99/month on a new ~$40k small Toyota Electric SUV. And they delivered it.

I haven’t made any real plans but thought about trying it.

Pros

3 years, so at the end I can get a new car. Maintenance won’t be as much vs decade of keeping the same car

Cons

I’ll always have a car payment

I’ll need about 4k down

Miles limit per year

Returning without damage ( how’s that process been with your previous experience)

It’s my thread, I’m also The top man who runs it.

I’m not gonna start a new thread over cars. Also the menu can be about cars because when you walk into a shop you see a menu of services.
Gas is food for cars. Fits in the menu as far as I’m concerned

I’ve never been given a problem with damage. Of course I fixed anything that could be considered an issue when it happened too.

The other con is the price you pay for the vehicle. Part of this is brand dependent. My wife and I leased a car for my mom last year. There were two finalists. Both quoted us the same residual rate, same term, and mileage. The car that was $11k more sticker price had a $200/month lower payment before I even started negotiating. That’s not a typo. Again, we were told the price on the quotes were at the same residual percentage after 36 months. So sadly we got her second choice.

Toyota has always been my preferred brand

Toyota Tacoma
Chevy Colorado

Although the newer design of the Chevy Colorado has been improved and impressive

I been looking at pickups and was thinking about leasing.
