A nice cheap meal I make is ground beef over egg noodles. Saute mushrooms in butter and marsala wine. brown the meat. Can of cream of mushroom soup. Sometimes add carrots. Jar of brown gravy.With the leftover pork shoulder, made a stroganoff. Made a slurry, used the aus jus, added some milk to make a great tasting sauce. Threw in some cheese tortellini and pork. Sourdough garlic toast on the side.

But speaking of tomatoes, our grape tomato plants are going bonkers. Cherry tomato, basil leaf, fresh mozzarella chunk with a balsamic drizzle is an upper echelon snack food.
