The LGA Terminal B experience: Sharks at Devils (7 PM EST; MSG, ESPN+)

Started with f***ing Dillon thinking he’s Brendan Smith and pinching when he doesn’t need to
Wasn’t a pinch, he was jumping up in the rush. But still really annoying.

I swear the downfall of defensemen like this is them refusing to just play the simple, solid, smart hockey expected of them.

I wonder if the fans that pay to come to these games are as tired of these kinds of performances against these loser suck, cream of the crap garbage teams as I am?
So far I’ve sort of managed to avoid it this year but that’s because I’ve only been to three games - two wins and the OT loss to the Isles but guess I get the in person shit show tonight!

I've never seen a puck go that high up into the sections before here. Was like 15-20 rows into the 100s behind the goal. Usually the net grabs those.

also, why the hell is Dougie, the RD, going into the left corner to chase that play? jfc man stay in front of the net
Nah don’t give what side he plays on, he played that fine. That’s not how the game is played. His partner was on the other end of the ice and it made complete sense for him to go where he went. He stepped over when Dowling got walked and stayed with it.

Trivia may be Niedermayer and Rafalski.

Or Niedermayer and someone from wayyyyyyy in the past who we wouldn't have ever guessed.

Niedermayer was actually high up on the most regular season OT winning goals for the Devils at one point.

Moore did have a few OT winners and points in OT here, but I just don't think he played long enough here to have racked up that many.

John Moore and Rafalski are my guess.

What was the question, most ot goals for d-men? If so Moore and Nieds would be the answer cause they showed the stats yesterday. Moore had that ridiculous hot streak of scoring ot goals that one season.
