Hated the Hughes line on the forecheck. One of the last shifts there the Sharks dmen were fumbling the puck and losing it like crazy in their feet and along the boards. Jack, Bratt, and Palat were just casually standing waiting for them to hand the puck over. Frustrating.

Credit to The Rock for having sane entry policies. I bought tickets last minute at Penn Station after returning from Manhattan. They let me in with my bag from The Strand. Small back but many arenas have zero bag policies. Kudos to The Rock.

This is my second game in less than a week. Great atmosphere here. But different from back in the days when you could get upper tickets for $10 on game day. But I do miss that a bit. Coming to visit my friend in Newark, lining up and seeing the same people every time!

Hughes needs to step up tonight and get it going again. Kid is a damn beauty. Gem of a game against the Habs on Thursday. Hoping for more of that magic tonight.
