Idk maybe just don't get shutout by the worst team in the league

Probably needed some sort of mind frame check before playing Florida. If they win this after getting lucky v the Isles, they're getting boatraced twice by the Panthers. Maybe, just maybe, they get mad enough and say enough enough's with passing the puck in the net and the other bullshit.

I mean, give the Sharks credit. They played a good game. One bad bounce off Timo Meier.

I always liked Blackwood, so good for him. I'd actually be happy if he does end up being one of the best goalies in the league once the Sharks grow up.

They played a solid defensive game and game him a chance on all the saves.

We did plenty of wonky garbage throwing pucks away... That's really my only criticism. It would be nice on nights when we 'don't have it' that we could play a simple, straightforward, complete your passes and get the picks to the net game instead of ice capades circling the net and low chance backhands.

I'm sure we dominated on the stats and time of possession but the Sharks actually had more dangerous chances except for that one sequence where Blackwood snow Angeled. Everything else was pretty easily stoppable.

Yeah for as bad as team as the Sharks are, they were skating pretty well tonight.

They didn't play a bad game at all.

Blackwood giving up nearly zero rebound chances didn't help, and it felt like the Sharks were doing well clogging up shooting lanes.

We didn't have our best, bit too sloppy and cute, but also far from our worst effort either.

Just an annoying game you put behind you

Mercer needs to be reprimanded for not taking that slot shot. That was the most memorable part of the game for me. That and the crowd later chanting shoot the puck in unison and the bronx cheer. That was wild.

Nico/Noesen and a few others failed the scrum goals, but blackwood gave no juicy rebounds in locations that helped us.

Good for Blackwood lol, he certainly decided to show up tonight when he would more rarely play like that here by the end.
