To Winnipeg:Gaudreau,Hamilton,2nd round pick

Roslovic will be playing with Tkachuk in London this year and could form 2/3rds of a pretty good line in the future for the Flames.

Gaudreau>Ehlers(Ehlers is exempt from expansion draft,Gaudreau isn't)

Trouba>Hamilton

No one adds.

Don't think either team does this. Gaudreau is a luxury for WIN who needs a LHD and Calgary doesn't have the scoring to replace Gaudreau.
 
Awful for the flames. Gaudreau is the best piece in this deal by a country mile.
 
Winnipeg takes this and runs, Flames get bent over.

Gaudreau >>>> Trouba
Hamilton > Ehlers
2nd < Roslovic

Yes the difference is that much between a top 10 forward and a #3 defenseman.
 
Trouba is good, but Trouba>Hamilton is far from a given (i'd disagree)..Jets win this trade by A LOT
 
Hamilton and Trouba are a saw off imo. Trouba a bit better defensively, Hamilton a bit better offensively.

Gaudreau is 8 hundred thousand miles ahead of Ehlers.

Terrible proposal for the Flames, and this coming froma n Oilers fan.
 
terrible offer. essentially saying trouba= gaudreau, whish isnt even close.

If the offers for Trouba are gonna be this good, I'd be sad this is the last one if I were a Winnipeg fan :laugh:

I am not sure I would even trade Hamilton for Trouba . Trouba is unsigned and who knows what his demands are at this point . Hamilton we know what his contract is . Hamilton also products much more offence and Offensive D are at a premium in the NHL . Just ask the Oilers who have been trying to acquire one to go with Larsson . The Flames D is balance well and they need a few more offensive players and they are well on their way to being a tough team for anyone to handle so they sure as hell do not trade Johnny Hockey for a lessor player . If you are trying this with the Flames make a trip north to the Oil patch first to get some oil to use as lube . Calgary would be sore after this if it ever went down
 
I know it's more fun to predict doom but the Jets are going to sign Trouba and the Flames are going to sign Gaudreau
