Yes, it sure did. I remember watching pre and post game shows for playoff games on it. Pre and post games shows on Leafs TV were much nicer back then.

I was in university during the Pat Quinn era of the late 90s, early 2000s. I almost took it for granted that every spring, as the school year came to a finish, it was all about patios and Leaf playoff games.

Makes me sad that about two generations of Leaf fans going through university missed out on that experience. As much as I am looking forward to watching playoffs again, there's nothing like Leaf playoffs in university, when you can do late nights mid-week and all your friends live within shouting distance of you.

Bars were packed, nobody had any wives or kids, and the first thing we had to worry about the next day was an 11 o'clock class. Good times.

Now, I'm halfway through a BS in biology and have been in a committed relationship for over 2 years.

I was a pretty different person- my politics and life view were different, I was unilingual (I now know 3+ languages), I had no reliable access to the internet at home (got that a year or so later). I had just begun high school (now I'm a postgrad). Had never been to the Old World (I now live there). Yeah.

Oh, I had also never followed a Leafs season in which they had not made the playoffs.

This thread is so depressing. I graduated high school the last time the Leafs made the playoffs since then have finished university, grad school and have been working for several years.

I have waited so long for this moment but I can't even watch the playoffs because I am overseas for work.
