Islands in the stream.
@Drivesaitl

That’d be one way to quickly get half the province into believing in climate change ;)
In the case of Florida I think more about social Darwinism. Why would a State thats been historically under water have such sprawling development and real estate prices?

Lets just sell land and property thats going to be under water is around or under sea level.

How does anybody even visit the place and not think about the "land" being tenuous at best?

lol the top land mass in the whole state is only 345ft above current sea level.

Got on a rant there.

Oh I'm a big fan. But he's not the same it seems and there was sloppy plays and giveaways. understood he probably lacks for game experience. I have no idea what Kimmich and Middlestadt actually do either.

But certainly a lot of strong players in lineup. I worry about the back against better squads.

This coach though, he has them playing more like German football. Decent build, take shots from distance, pound balls, possess everything. When Germany doesn't have ball they just demand it back.

Kimmich is definitely overrated. Mittelstadt seemed fine but did not stand out much for sure

Back end is definitely a concern, but if they can hold the majority of possession they should be able to overcome that weakness

Nagelsmann is almost underrated, IMO. Bayern was foolish to let him go (especially for Tuchel  ) but MNT benefits, so all good. He has them playing with full buy in and they look excellent as a team, which is always the most dangerous Germany (sum greater than parts etc)

I like Canada too, but don't have high hopes for them. That last WC was a disappointment
Decent attacking top of the lineup, lacking in the middle and on defense.

Now that I’m finished talking about the Oilers…

Not gonna watch because of obvious reasons but hoping they somehow don't get swept. As depressing as this shits been immvery happy Broberg is playing like a legitimate top four guy and finally getting a little bit of payoff for always believing in a prospect the majority of ppl on this site wanted to toss in the garbage bin.

Seems like Gagner will be playing his final NHL game tomorrow based on practice.
No it doesn’t.

Fun season after a brutal start to the year. Some really enjoyable moments these playoffs as well. Seeing Broberg arrive right before our very eyes has been basically the lone positive of this series.

It’s going to suck watching Tkachuk host the Cup in our building when Florida completes the sweep tomorrow.

It’s really unfortunate because we’ve more than shown we can play with them. Goaltending and costly mistakes have been the difference in the series. Our refusal to put pucks on net early in the series and our PP going completely cold are other major contributing factors.

Expecting another close loss. We’ll probably outshoot them again and Bob will come up big when his team needs a big save as he’s done all series.

Pretty shitty way to end a good playoff run prior to this series.

In which way will this team find a way to cut their own dicks off tomorrow?

Dallas at least avoided being swept.

But it's no wonder, in that sport Luka can easily get to the basket slower than a guy in a wheelchair.

As for the Oilers, the finals have been depressing, but we're going to have positive energy for today, one step at a time.

I think winning Game 4 and playing a close game back in Florida is important for the mentality of this current team, which isn't over yet.

The Oilers will have to make adjustments to improve, but finishing strong is important for the continuity of the group's core.

There was a part of the season when people even doubted a playoff spot. The team turned things around and made it to the League Finals.

It's time to be positive, now, and for next season.
