Sorely needed win, but that was absolutely gross. Rangers teams of the past would never even consider coughing up a 2 goal lead to a team like MTL going into the 3rd.

D Corps needs a serious overhaul. None of these guys can make an outlet pass to save their life.

A guy who they low key miss a lot right now is Gustafsson. Dude could get the puck up the ice and he's no worse than Jones defensively.

This game should only reinforce the idea that this team needs to be torn down to the ground. High Danger chances were 15-6 for Montreal with a fully healthy Ranger team on the ice. Outclassed at the most basic fundamentals of the game by what people think is the worst team in the league.

@n8 there was not another man in matheson. watch it again. Cuylle was 3 strides behind. You don't let him walk in on the goalie with the puck at that range, if you're also skating in that direction. Miller made the right play to attack the puck.

Chytil needs to track the driving trailer, that's his man on that broken play.

also, once that play was turned over, you tip your cap to their top players for executing. Miller did his job, they made a better play and scored.

The error on the play was both Chytil and Cuylle not being able to clear the puck. You have to get it out of the zone.
