The Nuggets and Avalanche franchises are held in the name of his wife, Ann Walton Kroenke, to evade NFL rules that forbid a team owner from having teams in other markets.

Personal feelings of the .5 trillionaire aside, this frees up funds for FSG to move on the Celtics and possibly strong arm the Jacob’s family into selling the Bruins and TD arena to complete their Boston sports market trifecta. Just another critical step to a potential Jacob’s family takeover of our hapless hockey team.
