yea but leafs get screwed by the Department of PS pieces of safety most of the timeIt's funny because other teams never get injured. Only Leafs.
Yes but trading Rask to Boston was good hockey.yea but leafs get screwed by the Department of PS pieces of safety most of the time
I thought Kurvers for Scott Niedermayer and Courtnall for Kordic really helped define the Leaf brand. Luckily we gave away Steen and only gave up Seguin and Hamilton for Kessel. I'm glad we gave away all those cup winners.Yes but trading Rask to Boston was good hockey.

Yeah but he sure scored a lot more playoff goals and big ones. Compare his playoff stats to anyone currently on the Leafs. He was better than anyone we currently have. But not good enough for the Leafs rofl. This organization is laughed at by the whole NHL for a good reason. I don't even think this team is as good as the Burns Pat Quinn era.Courtnall never won a Cup.
Russ Courtnall's point percentage went down in the playoffs. His undrafted brother Geoff hit 30 goals six times while #7 overall Russ only did it once.Yeah but he sure scored a lot more playoff goals and big ones. Ask Montreal fans. Point is we throw away very good players.Russ Courtnall's point percentage went down in the playoffs. His undrafted brother Geoff hit 30 goals six times while #7 overall Russ only did it once.
What big goals did Russ score?
Russ Courtnall had a 100 speed rating in NHL 95Russ Courtnall's point percentage went down in the playoffs. His undrafted brother Geoff hit 30 goals six times while #7 overall Russ only did it once.

#1 answer: They won the Cup the year after they traded him.Ask Montreal fans. Point is we throw away very good players.
Didn't always know where he was going, but he was definitely fast.Russ Courtnall had a 100 speed rating in NHL 95
Which tbh is a pretty big deal to me and it should be a big deal to everyone else too
He was a very good player for Montreal. We routinely made bad trades and always overpaid. Gilmour is the only time we burned anyone but Clark for Sundin was a good one. You only need to look at our trades, own rentals and firsts thrown away to see what went wrong. Bad asset management and bad use of cap. Tre is already playing this hand..again.#1 answer: They won the Cup the year after they traded him.

Very good my butt. He was only good compared to Kordic. He was a very good player for Montreal. We routinely made bad trades and always overpaid.

Let's check the math on that:83 pts in 129 playoff games. Better than most of our guys.
So barring no injuries another trade or a player will be put on waivers by next Thursday.Different than conditioning loan. Ltir loans last 3gp or 6 days max.
