Am I the only one who has heard of a hot hamburger plate? Burger patty on toast smothered in fries and gravy. Is it more of a small town Carolinas thing?

It was pretty much a staple at the mom and pop's/local restaurants in Raleigh when I was young. You could just order a hamburger steak w gravy without the toast as well.

That’s how it was down here in New Bern. I went to the one restaurant in town known for them once and that was enough. Food wasn’t bad but the down east good ol boy experience wasn’t for me.

Yeah. Never liked them myself. The gravy was usually god awful greasy sh*t.

Hasn’t played in several days now, hasn’t had a practice with the team, and no morning skate? The game is against a bottom feeder of a team though so no harm in throwing him in there

We saw in the playoffs and after...game 60? where the team seemed a bit low on gas.

I hope RBA does a better job managing their load /w off days this year so they can play their system and skate like the wind.

At this point with Ghost and PP we should rest a few guys a game here and there to keep them fresh. CDH, PP, Stepan can rotate in.
