Also to answer the actual question...

Queen - We will rock you
Queen - We are the Champions
Queen - Another one bites the dust
Blur - Song 2
Europe - Final Countdown
Motley Crüe - Kickstart My Heart
The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
Beastie Boys - Sabotage
The Prodigy - Firestarter
THe Prodigy - Invaders Must Die

There's a lot that should be arena anthems but yeah. I'll stick with these.

Gary Glitter aka Paul Gadd is quite literally a disgusting pedophile.

He was released and immediately wanted to access the dark web for more of his depravity.

Be smarter.

This should never be on your list. Or anyone's. The ignorance on this board is just ridiculous.

It's not a matter of can, mate. It's a matter of should. There's no list where you should throw up a song by a disgusting and vile human being like Glitter because of nostalgia. He is a pedophile and preyed on children, he has no intention of being better either. He immediately looked to reoffend the moment he got out. The lives he destroyed is immeasurable.

It makes me sick when I see that song pop up in ads or movies, his music should never get any more attention.

This isn't new news, the irony is that teams all knew about his arrest in 1999 and they still kept using it in 2015, but will act like "We care about innocent victims..."

Also, the moment you just google the name, it's right there in his "About" section on the right. Being from the UK, this was something that was widely reported especially with the Saville stuff and I recall a discussion about the continued usage of his music in sports and how teams were halting it. I guess you're too young to know about it if you missed the news in 1999 and in 2015 (when Hockey News also reported on the usage of it by some teams as posted above).

Holy-moly.

Yes, Gary Glitter is a pretty sick individual.
You made that clear with the first post mate. And the guy understood and rescinded right after. And yet you keep harping on it derailing a perfectly innocent thread. Shut up.

I always enjoyed the Hampster Dance at games. It's perfect commercial time-out music.

If you all think Gary Glitter is bad (and he is), Lostprophets' singer Ian Watkins is, arguably, worse.
I'm not even going to post any links to his offenses... they're that offensive.

Lots of stand up citizens on that list.
R.Kelly and Diddy certainly have had and still have their issues.

But that's not really the topic here. So, I'll stop now.

Oof. This is all tough way for me to learn about Blur and sexual abuse.

The Uncanny Valley
Tom Cochrane's Big Leagues was set to become his next big hit in the States until radio dj's realized it was about hockey and not baseball.

TBF, I believe this song started with the Chicago White Sox.
