Who else from that team would go? Lol

Good for him though.
It might have been Chabot but he's not having as good as a year as last .. JG Pageau would be the next up as he is only a couple points behind Duclair.
Without Kane we would have no player with more points than Duclair.

So much talent squandered by Stanley

I’m honestly not sure which team would win a 7 game series. The top 6 is much better than the current team. Putting it together, I was amazed how cohesive the players are with one another. It isn’t just a collection of talent. Can’t wait for Bowman to be gone, lol.

Not just Stan. It speaks volumes to the organizational dysfunction we so often saw, especially in the lack of communication between Stan (or whoever was pulling his strings) and the HC who would have supposedly been on the same page.

Too often we saw Stan acquire a player that Q didn't want and/or refused to play or had him in the wrong role etc... only to have that player traded away too soon. Daley, Kempny and Duclair being the most glaring examples. Keeping Kruger around over Danault was an atrocious decision as well. I could go on but you get my drift as to the dog and pony show brought on largely by Stan scrambling to dig the team out of the hole that he helped dig.

^^This. Something I think a lot of fans miss is that chemistry counts. A bunch of stars playing as individuals will almost always lose out to a bunch of 2nd tier players playing as a team, playing cohesively, and with a game plan that everyone buys into.

Proof: the 2018 season. The 'hawks had more on-paper star power than the Golden Knights and they outplayed the 'hawks in almost every single facet of the game.

I thought of him more of a 40-45 point guy when he plays a full season but that is a lot of money you are right. How many years?

I think this is the last year.
He has not had a full season with 40 points in 3 out of the last 4 years. He likely doen't hit 40 this year either.
Wonder what it would take to sign him as a UFA? I wouldn't mind him back for 2ish or is that too cheap?
