Man Hagel's actually become a beast. I remember the moment I knew we had something special in him was when we played the Avs in a season opener and he was the only Blackhawk who really seemed like he belonged on the ice lol

Same with Strome. I miss them both.

On the flip side, DeBrincat isn't quite as good as he was in Chicago. Still good though and I miss him too.

The team sucked, but the vibes were better.

Strome didn't work out as hoped

He flashed some of that potential but required yet another change of scenery before establishing himself

It happens

Some guys take right fit to find success

I have no animosity towards Strome and applaud his success

Hagel turned out to be a dream pick of the 6th round. In Chicago he was mostly hustle and heart with not a lot of finish but he just kept getting better in TB. I was one of the many who thought he was great trade bait and wouldn't get to the point where he is now.

Haven't seen this posted yet.

JR was my hockey idol. I even had the same tuck, used that TFlex 100 with the toe tape. What is the deal with his wife offering him the cheek at the end? Especially after closing his speech talking about “making better decisions that affect loved ones”. I always have loved JR and figured the bittersweet tone of the speech was just JR being JR but it culminating with the cold vibes from wife and brother makes me sad and curious. Seems like more going on there than that Tappen thing would warrant. So glad he got in finally tho.
