That was a tough watch actually. Forsberg was trying to give him a push from behind to help him back check faster but it seemed to just slow him down more if anything

He’s literally having like 30 second shifts over and over and over, it’s like he doesn’t want to be on the ice.

Well aware........he's also naturally a big strong guy and always has been..........EP has never been that. He's getting better and he has some spunk to him as he throws hits ............which is nice. But yeah he's never gonna be near the same class strength wise as Rantanent - he's a bull.........

EP needs to work on his lower body just as much, if not more than his upper body. He has that "give a f***" still. He throws some stiff checks, but he's just not a trenches player right now. That's OK. Patrick Kane wasn't really a trenches player, but he was a natural winger. But he did go to the trenches, it's just Kane had this uncanny ability to swoop in like a crow, get the puck and come out of the trench relatively unscathed and move it with speed. EP isn't half the skater Kane is.

I'd say to him, basically to survive in this league you're going to have to study some more Foppa tape and pass A LOT more. Holy shit, I had no idea Trottier coached the Avs. That makes a ton of sense.
