This conversation isnt and has never been about opinion. You said that his off-ice activities make him a worse teammates. You've never provided any data to support your point. Conclusion : you are talking out of your ass.
That being said, your attempt at moving the goal posts is understandable since you've realized that the claim you've made is factually wrong.
Again, I dont mind the trade, as long as we go further than the ECF in the next couple years. Unsubstantiated claims are what bothers me though.
I was a big fan of Prust. Loved how he stood up for his teammates and fought.Lol calm down, im not asking you guys to go away, im saying a lot of you have gone from loving subban to just out right hating him and wishing him to do poorly
its pathetic
YOU say you couldnt care less wether he succeeds or not, sure thats fair, but most are wishing he sucks and that weber outproduces him just to justify the trade, which is silly, weber brings different things to the team, and subban brought different things to the team, but at least subban also brought things to the community and went out of his way to do so, because he truly loved being a hab, maybe not more than all the players PaulD mentioned in his snobby post, but it sure felt like it
The thread is designed to keep tabs on how they are doing, but calling his 8 points in 15 games for a Dman overrated is laughable, quotes saying things like oh he was never any good as a hab, this proves it blah blah, again, its just pathetic
The moment he was no longer a Hab, I could care less about him.
Same for Patrick Roy, Chris Chelios, Chris Nilan or any other former Habs player.
I get the fan worship of an individual player. That's great. Understand that there are fans who cheer for the Habs team as a team and understand that players come and go.
