Sorry Shrimper

Wigan is safe

Rotherham got a point, Derby blew a lead, and Rotherham still has a chance to survive. Wycombe does too but they have like a 12 GD swing to overturn.

Despite all the trouble this season, Portsmouth can secure a playoff spot with a win next Sunday against Accrington...Charlton's draw today means they can't catch Pompey.

Oxford can make the playoff with a win against Burton and Portsmouth dropping points.

Sad to see them go down, they were a fun team to do a road to glory with on Fifa. Remember playing with them in 13/14 they had some nice kids in Bentley, Payne, Leonard and Thompson good loan players in Egan, O'neill and Murphy. The forwards were old and not great with not much value so you needed to bring in a new one in January but they seemed to have the pieces to get promoted easily the first year and sometimes the next if you don't sell the kids off right away.

Pompey, Oxford, and Charlton will battle for the final playoff spot. Pompey wins and they are in, but if Pompey draws and the other 2 win, Oxford would have the best chance at the final spot.

Rotherham is going to have to win and have Derby draw with Wednesday to have any survival hope. Really hope Derby and Wednesday go down

As of now (halftime results), Derby and Sheffield Wed go down, despite Wednesday winning at Pride Park. Rotherham is winning at Cardiff which keeps them out of the bottom three for now. Wycombe is winning as well but they need other results to go their way

Derby equalize early in the 2nd half but they are still down because of their poor GD, things will change if they take the lead of course

They take the lead, two goals in a couple of minutes to open the half, they are now safe, not much Rotherham can do now other than hope Wednesday turn things around

Rotherham concede in the dying minutes of the match, Derby-Sheffield is like 10-15 minutes behind the other matches and thats 3:3 at the moment, Derby safe right now

Derby survive but just like last season a points penalty had a big effect to the season (Wednesday would have been safe but their fault). If Rotherham held on the Derby-Wednesday match would have been wild, instead it was mostly Derby time wasting

Also the playoff matchups are set, Barnsley jumped ahead of Bournemouth

(6) Bournemouth vs. (3) Brentford
(5) Barnsley vs. (4) Swansea City

Give me Brentford vs Barnsley for the right to go up. One team that's never been in the premier league vs one that hasn't this century.

Bolton gets promoted to League 1.

Morecambe, Newport, Forest Green, and Tranmere in the playoffs. Really dont mind any of those teams but Morecambe and their relative budget would be a good story.

They were; they bought a ton in the summer window and had a loan goalkeeper make a few errors. Once they started playing Matt Gilks and gelled a bit, their talent pulled them up.

At one point they won 11 and drew 2 in a 13 game stretch

Sorry Gabe.

Blackpool-Oxford and Sunderland-Lincoln in the League One playoffs after Pompey choked a berth away.

Disappointing but not unsurprising. Far too many passengers on the squad.

Big changes need to be made this summer...I hope we stick with the Cowleys and give them a chance to clean out the squad and bring in their own players.

Cowleys are staying on a long-term contract at Portsmouth...rumors that a few Portsmouth players got into a bar fight last night and arrested...poor form if true.

Sigh...lots of deadwood to clear out this summer.

Bournemouth hold serve at home 1-0. Brentford wont be too disappointed in that result.

Swans win 1-0 at Oakwell. God I really hope it isnt Bournemouth and Swansea, no offense to either group of fans.
