The effort seems fine. They’re playing a pretty tight game but don’t have the counter punch offensively when they have a chance and the defense and goaltending hasn’t been A+. Right now it seems like we have zero game breakers.

I don't know if I agree on the effort. They look like they are going through the motions and not putting in that extra 10% to actually accomplish anything.

Maybe Matthews actually is better than Drai. And maybe even McDavid.

The difference is that EVERY SEASON Matthews (allegedly) battles through a "nagging injury".

I'm completely over his "nagging injuries".

No McDavid and Matthews are on two separate levels. Draisaitle and Matthews are closer but I give the nod to Matthews. However, the best ability is availability and Draisitle seems to be more consistently available to play at his all-star level than Matthews unfortunately.

Get better soon Matty, This team isn't going anywhere if Matthews wrist is off.

Only one of those three goals could you possibly blame Campbell. The other two were virtually unstoppable by any goalie. The difference is the Leafs hardly get any clear cut opportunities like that. Too many of the Leaf chances are scrambles around the front of the net.
