Hyman Matthews Nylander
Galchenyuk Tavares Marner
Mikheyev Kerfoot Simmonds
Thornton Engvall Spezza

It's time to face facts Mattys elite snap shot is gone

hardly any zip on his shots

Maybe Matthews actually is better than Drai. And maybe even McDavid.

The difference is that EVERY SEASON Matthews (allegedly) battles through a "nagging injury".

I'm completely over his "nagging injuries".
I know right, getting a wrist injury, what a loser.

I am more frustrated with Keefe than anyone else on the team

He is f***ing forcing nylander-jt duo; when he can easily spread out offense get JT going with Marner and Nylander can take up some of the shooting on that 1st line

#FRUSTRATING

I'm off the Keefe bandwagon. We have no offensive flow at all. Still trying to pass the puck into the net. The book is out how to play us now. Meanwhile, Keefe changes NOTHING.

CHANGE UP THE FORWARD LINES YOU GOOF!

Oh he'll change it. Hyman might move up a spot, Spezza might switch spots with Leivo. Big changes that will surely ignite a spark in our offense....

I'm tired of this teams lack of effort when we go down a goal or two. They just curl up and die. Also not very impressed with the overpaid four.

$40m is wasted.

- Matthews is injured and cannot score goals; he's just out there for moral support.

- Tavares is rapidly declining due to age; he's also mostly there for his presence.

- Nylander is going through one of his frequent rough patches, so frequent that the good times seem more like patches.

- Marner is being forced into a shooting role, and he sucks at that. He can still make plays but his linemates include Matthews (only there for moral support) and Thornton (should be restricted to playing in Alumni Classics).

What makes McDavid and Draisaitl so elite is that such a high percentage of their chances end up in the back of the net. It's hard to qualify as a skill, but they finish at a high level (hence their point totals). Matthews and Marner are great, but they're a step below those guys in the playmaking / surefire finishing department.

Thornton needs to come off the first line and needs to be replaced by glachenyuk
I've been saying this all along.

But HF users think that Thornton's veteran presence is needed on the 1st line.
Even though Thornton is slow, plays no D, average at passing, terrible at shooting ----- He get's to be our #1W. Brutal.

Put fu-cking Spezza/Gally on the 1st line, at least they both can skate, shoot, and pass.
