Concerns for Queen Elizabeth. It is hard to believe how many years she has been the Queen. She has a great work ethic.

I have always admired her. When she leaves this earth, it will make me sad. She kind of reminds me of my Mom. She is 3 years younger as my mother would have been 99 this year.

She's become so frail since Prince Philip's death & I think that has a lot to do with what's happening now. HM is an amazing woman to be sure.

*Stick tap for the Queen*

Paul McCartney said he had a crush on the Queen when he was young.

My wife is a 40 year lender and many of her friends are realtors all over Mass, and what you're describing certainly is NOT the norm. You run the risk of discriminating if you consider anything but the ability to pay what you ask.

That is true - I didn't think of that side of it.

"Former CNN anchor Bernard Shaw died Wednesday of pneumonia unrelated to Covid-19, Shaw's family announced in a statement Thursday. Shaw was 82.
Shaw was CNN's first chief anchor when the network launched in June 1,1980 and was with the network for more than 20 years.
Funeral services for Shaw will be closed to family and invited guests only, with a public memorial service planned at a later time, his family said."

"In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bernard Shaw Scholarship Fund at the University of Chicago. The Shaw family requests complete privacy at this time," the family said in their statement.

He was terrific during the Gulf War, reporting live from his hotel room in downtown Bagdad.

May he rest in peace.

I remember watching him with the Gulf War coverage and again during the 2000 election.

May he rest in peace

Wow was offered a marketing job were after the first year I can make up to 80K
That's awesome but be sure to read all the fine print because this sounds like it is based in hitting various benchmarks and also on profits.

First few weeks be like 600 or more a week with bonuses. My girl said to ask em if its based off commission and haven’t heard back from them yet

I know my mother wont like no benefits.

Have options. Just want to find a job to provide for my family and will treat me right.

I agree. I really never heard of anything like what's been described. Although I remember our home had 3 offers on it and the sellers "liked our energy best". I'm not sure what that means, (other than i cried when I walked into the kitchen because the energy was strong). We also offered slightly above asking which made a difference, I think.
People end up with big bad energy if the house isn't a match (that's coming from me being in the Feng Shui biz)
Our realtors really got to know us which made the list of homes we saw very personal.
The market has plateaued considerably here in the southwest.

She became Queen the year I was born....A VERY long time ago

Congrats on your hustle and passion. I know you are family focused. Jobs don't have to be forever. Sounds like a good spot if it isn't cold calling or too commission driven.

Don't live your mom's ecology-live yours ;)

I had a feeling it was commission based. Saying you can earn up to 80K after 1 year is a great way to expand your candidate pool but IMO, it is deceptive and a tactic I despise.

TBH, the increases each week sounds a bit scamish.

My mom dealt with a few buyers who were just ridiculous with their asks so she ended up walking from 2 offers. I wish I could have bought the house because the person who bought the house has let the yard go and it was infuriating to see a few weeks ago. Almost 40 years of blood, sweat and tears from my parents to keep it nice and that asshole has made it look like the laughing stock of the street in a year.

My family built their homes when they moved which was a completely different headache but at least they didn't have to deal with being outbid.
