It's amazing how tightly the NHL plays Fox at the point 5on5. Yet our coaches can't come up with a single play for Fox on the line except to get it to Lindgren for the unscreened shot.

I don't care what people say. Our coaches are cheerleaders and don't actually coach anything. This team will continue to be terribad and squander talent until there is a coaching change. And I don't mean a change for the sake of change... I'm talking about a complete change to a systems coach.
Reverse jinx... But also I stand by this still.

Glad they won, but NJ would take us in a 7 game series. They are far better than the Rangers. Hughes is impressive. His skating and puck control is on another level. Kakko and Laff are still busts. Chytil is more impressive. Chytil seems like a guy that would fit in with the Devils. Skates hard and fast and an underrated shot.

While everyone and their mom is losing sleep over Kakko and Laf, Chytil is turning into a really solid all-around player
Yup, he’s been in the league 5 years now, it takes players time to develop, too bad some of the posters here don’t understand that and call them both busts (they were probably calling Chytil a bust the last couple years too).

Good finish after another dreadful start.
Still look pretty crap defensively but Igor was outstanding.
Chytil was the best forward and that OT goal was well deserved. Despite scoring the 'kid' line seemed pretty meh overall though even with Chytil looking the goods
Team needs to commit to bringing in fleet-footed puck movers and players who can shoot (accurately)

We crush them in goaltending though.
