It’s Tkachuk and it’s not close

People love a good story and his is the best at the moment

It would be criminal if Bobrovsky didn't win (in a scenario where the Panthers won the Cup).

Tkachuk's OT goals make a good story but it's Bob holding down the fort until he gets around to scoring.

Bobrovsky is no longer a reasonable option if the Panthers lose the Stanley Cup Final.

Jonathan Marchessault might be in the lead now. Stone, Eichel and Hill also being in the conversation.

Eichel is the #1 for me right now, followed by Marchessault, Hill and Stone. The difference is small enough that it can still change depending on how the series goes, especially if Florida can make it tight. Lots of great performers.

Its going to be either Eichel or Marchessault depending on how they do in the last remaining games. Could see Marchessault winning it as he has double the goals and one less point.

I feel neither really deserve it and normally I would go with a goalie like Hill who has been great but not sure if he has played enough games. Best he can finish with is 11 wins out of 16 if they win the Cup coupled with a 2.06 gg 2 SO and a .937 save%. The only number that hurts his chances are the wins.

It's pretty clearly Eichel at this point, assuming Vegas wins. Tkachuk and Bobrovsky have been no shows in the final.

Marchessault has been great but so much of his scoring has been a result of Eichel's puck carrying / playmaking.
I'll bet the media is going to go for the goal scoring over the playmaking, give me Marchessault. Also the fact that Marchessault is an original Knight selected in the expansion draft is just a better story for them to sell. The team really kicked it into an extra gear when Marchessault's goal scoring tear got started.

I think the NHL likes the big names to win the Conn Smythe. Eichel.

They definitely like feels good stories.

Theres a lot this year

Eichel winning in his first playoffs
Marchessault being an OG Vegas member - drafted from Florida

Even if Florida wins, you get Bob and Tkachuk as big names with nice stories, or frig even Montour

The flip side to that is that is date he only has 3 losses and he rescued them when the other guy got hurt. I think Hill has been their most important player. Must be at least in the Smythe conversation

They way the officials have carried Vegas should have them up for this award. The way that Barbashev hit Gudas and they no called it is truly amazing. Their winning put their kids through college.
Get a grip. Gudas ran into him and got what he paid for

While we're at it, let's accept the fact that Gudas goes around demolition derbying opponents as a rule of thumb so too bad for him and boo freaking hoo
