The chase for the playoffs (standings, scoreboard watching, and, of course, sagacious commentary)

The way Car and the NYI are playing, the CBJ have a fair chance. NYI just aren't that good and Car has no goaltending.

Torts wins the COY if the CBJ get in. 50/50 chance in my eyes

I think Carolina will be fine once they get one of their goalies back, which sounds soon.

I think NYR are the real sleeper here. While Carolina, CBJ, NYI, and Florida keep fumbling about, they surge. If Shestorykin didn't get hurt I think they'd make it in easy, but I still think they have the best chance to unseat NYI/CBJ.

If half our team wasn't injured we probably could have been in the "make it in easy" talks. Like us they had a good goalie waiting to play so its not like they had to play an AHL caliber goalie and just hope to survive

Let's hope Isles/Canes isn't a 3-pointer. Otherwise I'm good with either team winning this one.

Pulling for a Canes win in regulation. Regardless of the outcome of CBJ-EDM (but obviously hoping for a W), I'd rather keep the Isles, Canes, and Rangers in our rear-view (albeit VERY close)
