It's a mental thing, most likely. Good players always tend to play a tad better against their former teams, I feel.

I thought you were getting ready to say it’s a mental thing, we remember former Canes and don’t remember randos.

There’s an effin force field in front of Binnington right now….

And it’s not all great saves. He’s had a couple of good ones, but we are flubbing all sorts of good opportunities.

I thought for sure they'd call a trip on Svech when he took down Krug behind the net.

Not to parrot Tripp, but that was a really good offensive period by Carolina. Binnington was outstanding. This wasn't a case of guys just shooting at his chest, he had to make some really tricky saves and the Canes were all over them.

Look at this shot chart, and it's all 5v5 because the Canes haven't had a PP
