2. Pace yourself and do not overexert yourself -> short shifts and meaningful shifts and STAY THE F OUT OF THE BOX
3. do not puck watch -> SKATE SKATE SKATE
4. engage in 50-50 puck battles do not back off near the boards
5. put pucks on net and do not look for that special shot playing perimeter hockey -> GOAL IS A GOAL, don't need to paint a Picasso
6. Marner and Rielly do not f***ing turnover the puck with fancy bullshit LEARN BY NOW
7. Matthews, Nylander and Tavares shoot every chance you get
8. figure your shit out in the 2nd period -> been outplayed in 2nd periods for 4 games in a row now
9. 3rd period if you have a lead do not sit on it and give florida multiple chances to get back in the game
10. play as a 5 man unit, play more in the offensive zone, all the lines take every possible shot there is to take, look for rebounds/garbage goals not just rush chances. PLAY FULL 60 MINUTES

Hell, even if we win tonight and beyond, we don’t know his future status. Everyone will have a different viewpoint, but I won’t be embarrassed for this team if they loose tonight (provided it’s not a game 5 repeat).

I think the only way MM stays is if we get to the Cup Finals. He might think he’s got unfinished business here.. but other than that I think it’s quite clear that he’s gone. I wasn’t surprised to read those reports about him wanting a fresh start
