That is a possibility but I think they squeak in worst case.. JT will be signed. I'd target a couple of bangers who can score with the Marner money. They might lose a step in the regular season but they could take two forward in the playoffs. Look at the impact Tanev, OEL and Stolarz have made.

I’m on the fence to resigning JT, have to be really cheap and short on term, I believe better offers will be available to him, and I’m good with that…….

Usually just watch alone in my Leafs jersey - but for tonight, my son is watching with me (obviously he'll have his jersey on as well) and he's that one guy that if you take him to a game, it's nearly a guaranteed win.

So I think that should be enough to put us over the edge and win this thing.

It's wild to me that people are still pushing the narrative/will think it's embarrassing if we lose a long, hard fought, seven game series to the defending champs.

Ask Winnipeg, 116 pts, the President Trophy Winners, or Washington, 111 pts if it's easy to win in the playoffs. Regardless what happens, barring a complete no-show like game 5, I think we should be proud of what this team accomplished this season.
