Can you show me examples of Reaves jumping guys? To protect players. Make sure that the fighters are Bennett/Gudas level, not Wilson types.

I just told you about a cheap shot and you ignored it, as did he.

I mean Matt Martin? Clifford? Simmonds?

Reaves is fine, he brings something the team lacks and it’s not scoring goals. The leafs have plenty of that already.

I don’t want matthews breaking his hand on Perry’s face though, reaves can do that

I can't agree with that.

Reaves won't prevent a single cheap shot.

What he will do is answer the call and take some names.

Having a gut that can and will fight has never prevented a cheap shot in the game

There is no evidence that Reaves is changing how teams play against us and in his 6 mins of ice (I don't even think he will be playing) in the playoffs, I don't think he is changing how Florida plays against us.

Enforcers deterring dirty plays is a total myth. There were plenty of goons in the 90's/00's and we saw superstars like kariya,Lindros etc get headhunted all the time. It's nice to have a guy sticking up for his team, but it's not going to stop anyone. Fighting after the fact doesn't suddenly reverse an injury. Remember how much people were anticipating Belak fighting Cam(can't remember his last name) after he hurt Kaberle? It meant nothing.

All those players are more skilled than Reaves, so yes, literally any of them. But I'd also just rather a good forechecker like Acciari who got paid 750k more, about the overpayment of Kampf.

Perry and Reaves will never fight so that point is just silly.
