The c-word is a funny one because it really just means a-hole in the UK and Australia whereas here it has more of a feminine connotation.

I said 'bitch' for like 2 full years after binging Breaking Bad so I kind of get it. And words I'd rather not repeat after Deadwood (Al was almost my hero). I should actually apologize to my fiance since she's going to be dealing with this right after our wedding and then on our honeymoon in the fall. I dropped the C world once and she did not enjoy it.

Edit: My fiance is NOT a shrinking violet, the context of the C word was rough, and I did blame The Boys for making it 'fast and lose' haha. That's the one word she hates; I said a checkout person (who was awful) was being a C word. Boston people don't speak like we're implied in the movies but I will admit we stick the landing on See You Next Tuesday;

I just heard they’ve been renewed for a 5th season.

I think they can really build the peak of this series in this season, and have a nice tie in with a second season with Gen V, with a final 5th season that brings it all together

Amazon has confirmed that The Boys will return for a fifth season, ahead of the premiere of season 4.

I gave up with this show in the middle of season 2. Even the 1st season was nothing special.

Great show, but getting long in the tooth. The most recent season finale was a big disappointment and I worry they're stretching it out too far, especially with this extended universe they are building. It's hard to imagine there will be much of a show when they finally kill Homelander too which takes away a lot of the suspense

Kripke confirmed that season 5 will be the last. With that in mind this should hopefully help keep season 4 from going too far off the rails as they look to wind the series down sooner than later.

Would be nice to get another season of Gen V in between with those characters crossing over in season 5 to end both series.

A very fun start to the season. There is zero subtlety to this show, unless of course it was so subtle I missed it, but that seems to be the point. It also seems like its target demographic is perpetually online people and it's pretty hamfisted in its anti-capitalist messaging... Despite the millions of dollars it's making for its cast and crew.

I'm all for the Deep and the new member of the Seven to get it on. A perfect mix between this universe's dumbest and smartest characters

They were watching. It just wasn't on the nose enough for them to realize.
