I want to like the Oilers because I still have fond memories of the Gretzky era and I love Hyman and McDavid is a video game come to life, but man that fan base is just so …..sad. They just reeek of insecurity, meanness and inferiority complex. It makes no sense. They’ve lucked into arguably the two best players to ever play the game. There really is no other fanbase like them.

That being said I think Ekholm was a massive edition for them and think they could end up winning the Pacific and are a true SC contender now. Leafs will have to play at their utmost best to beat them.
