Penn Station is on 34th St and 8th Ave; Rockefeller is on 50th between 5th and 6th ave; Central Park starts on 59th St between Columbus Circle and 5th Ave, north side of the park ends on 110th St.

Central Park.

Rockefeller Center starts at 48th and 6th. Central Park begins on 59th street. It may depend on where exactly you're walking to but I'd say its a quicker walk to can nearly any part of Rockefeller center than Central Park.

Hi everybody, my first post here and it´s all questions. I´m traveling to NY in a couple of weeks and I´ve already bought tickets to the NYI-NYR game on thursday 7th feb.

It´s going to be my first time at MSG so I´m pretty excited. I´m traveling with a friend and we´ve got tickets in section 226.

I was wondering how soon before the game should we come to MSG?
And are there any cool (sports)bars near MSG where to hang out after the game?
and if there are nice hangouts, are they team jersey friendly, or is that a no-go in local bars?

Also are the fan apparel shops open at MSG after the game?

Any other tips for a MSG first timer are very much appreciated.

Can´t wait. :)

A lot of the answers you're looking for can be found in this very thread.

Restaurant I can take my 18 y/o niece to where we can watch the game

Hi all.

I'm taking my 18 y/o niece to the Museum of Natural History today and afterwards I want to take her to dinner somewhere we can watch the game - she's underage, so a place like The Flying Puck is out of the question. is Stout my best option?

any bar/restaurant around MSG will probably have the game on. you still can take her to flying puck, they do have tables and allow underaged people in

clyde fraziers might have some nhl on, but I'm not sure - call ahead. Great sports watching restaurant, plenty of parking around on west side

Thanks for the responses guys! I just assumed since the Flying Puck didn't have a separate dining room that you would have to be 21 to get in. I'll give Clyde Fraziers a call as well. Much appreciated!

Can try Blondies at 79th and Broadway. It's very close to the Museum of Natural History if you don't want to get back on the subway.

First time at Madison square garden

Hello

This is My first post here
My questiona are we are visiting new york at the 10th of april
Is ticketsnow.com à good website to buy tickets at ?

Second question are
Is new york rangers vs Toronto maple leaves à good game?

Welcome to NYC, it is indeed legit. They handle the NHL's official ticket exchange. NYR vs Toronto is an original 6 game and they're always a bit more exciting and meaningful. Though Toronto may be the smallest draw to MSG from the other O6 teams.

Appreciated the answer in Sweden many second hand tickets are just à fraud so it should be no problem to get in then.

Would you prefer sit on zone 400 or 200?

Best is i Didnt get overpriced tickets i guess

I've yet to be inside MSG after phase 2 of the renovation so I couldn't say for sure. But from what everyone has been saying the 400s are a great view and good value for money.
