That's all on the NHL. They have done a poor job communicating with the team and fans on all aspects of this event.

That bit on information was on a brochure that was passed out by the Jackets over a week ago as a guide to the All Star Weekend. So the CBJ have known and have neglected to pass it along. Everyone should have been updated as soon as they received that information so that people could plan accordingly. Regardless of who's at fault, NHL or CBJ, there are going to be a lot of pissed off people when they go to enter the building and can't because they have their kid with them. Anyways...just passing info along

I believe that's the concern. Some people would like to know times for the Q&A, Autograph and live XM broadcasts at Fan Fair so they can plan to attend and buy tickets for the session that has the most interest to them.

Right, I get that. I was sort of just jumping off from what I quoted.

Actually just spoke with an NHL exec about this. He sounded maybe a little frustrated but he expects a full list of who and when within 24 hours. FWIW.

Think I've decided to pass on the actual ASG and just stay with the original plan of only going to the skills comp..

Unfortunately, the airport looks like **** right now. At least there's the beautiful downtown riverfront.

Hopefully we get at least a little sun this weekend.

Agree. Just was down at the arena picking up my Draft tickets and it is setting in for me also. There was NHL people everywhere. Freaking huge weekend for the city.

They must be having a hard time getting people to appear at the autograph stage, why else keep it a secret a day before the event starts? Is it really hard to say Kelly Kisio will be appearing from 1-2p?

Really stinks.. hard to plan for.

Anyone at Fan Fest tonight and find out any info on who is appearing?

It was a decent event. Tonight two rookies: Sekac from MTL and Hoffman from OTT. No information that I could find about a schedule for the rest of the weekend. NHL dropped the ball on this one big time, probably won't be returning since I have no way of knowing who will be there.

They seem to have dropped the ball on jersey customization tonight as well. Not a huge deal but it seems hardly anyone who ordered a jersey was able to get it tonight after initially telling people they would be ready to take home tonight. They said that the ones ordered tonight could be picked up at the Blue Line tomorrow.
