So...generic jersey having nothing to represent the host city Columbus (color, ASG logo, etc.)
It's a lazy effort for sure. Might just drive me to sell my tickets. At least for the skills everyone will be in their regular team jerseys.

Seeing the teaser photos earlier today made me think the neon green was stinger green, but then realised it was neon green on black. Not as big of a fan now.
I'll still end up purchasing one though. Hopefully a CBJ player lands on the black team.

Has there ever been an ASG jersey that has anything to do with the city hosting it? The 2012 jerseys in Ottawa were blue and white with red. Same with the years prior.So...generic jersey having nothing to represent the host city Columbus (color, ASG logo, etc.)
I'm not sure why there was an expectation these jerseys should be representative of Columbus in any way.

Agreed. These are pretty horrible regardless. The disappointing thing for me is that the merchandise and marketing using the red/white/blue/gray logos and graphics looks so good - how could they not tap into that? It's like two separate committees who never talk came up with independent ideas of how t style this thing. So for some reason we end up with two entirely incongruous sets of clothing, logos, etc. Weird.

The neon green is a throwback to the franchise's original days.

I agree there. At least if they had kept the same ASG jerseys from the last couple of games it would have matched the color scheme of the logo and people could have at least pretended the R,W and B color scheme represented the CBJ colors in some form.

Yep. Blue and gray, blue and off-white, etc would have been awesome if they didn't want to go the red/white/blue route. If they wanted neon, they could've worked it in with some subtlety.
Ah well. Still pumped for the weekend. Going to be a blast.

Besides Crawford I say G are:
Rinne (2.00, .929)
Price (2.20, .927)
Lundqvist (2.30 gaa, .916 another rep pick who has been better lately
Luongo (2.23 , .926)
Quick (solely on reputation) (2.4 gaa, .915 save %)
One of these two:
MAF (2.25 gaa & .925 save %)
Howard (2.08 gaa & a .921 save %)
For Comparison Bob is at 2.8 gaa and a .915 save %
Rask could also get a reputation nod - 2.52 & .913 definitely don't warrant it.
Probably MAF since he's leading the league in shutouts?
Either way I agree it will be tough for Bob - if does somehow make it people will definitely be crying the homer card.
